Huffington Post film writer Marhall Fine spoke with THE DEBT star Jesscia Chastain about her performance and the perils of being the Hollywood "it" girl. As Chastain quickly points out, "If you're the 'It' girl, that means that, soon, you'll be out of fashion. " But it's hard to imagine anyone who works as hard as Chastain being out of fashion. She goes on to talk about her study of dance helped her with Krav Maga, but not always: "There was a moment where my hand grazed his [Jesper Christensen's] chin accidentally. In that take, we both looked so fierce - but afterward, I gave this big gasp and covered my mouth with my hands. Fortunately, it was no big accident."

In his USA TODAY profile, "Helen Mirren: International woman of mystery," Bryan Alexander, looks at the British actress new acting direction: "butt-kicker in the spy world." She's learned a little martial arts and a little gun play, but she's most proud about her language skills, of having learned Russian. Mirren comments "Actually, Russians who have seen it say the accent is great...I'm thrilled."

On Huffington Post, Jordan Zakarin talks with THE DEBT's director John Madden and stars Jessica Chastain & Sam Worthington about this international thriller. It's a excellent primer on the film and its issues. It's a thriller, but, as Madden says, "one that has an emotional and psychological or moral complexity to it that's completely intertwined with the plot." As such, Chastain describes in the interview how she used her research on people who survived the Holocaust to inform her character Rachel.

Ari Karpel's profile of Jessica Chastain in Details Magazine (with great photos by Yu Tsai) highlights how in demand this star of John Madden's THE DEBT has become. After getting in a accident in a motorcross excursion after the Cannes Film Festival, Chastain jokes, "The only way I could get myself to rest was to get into a motorcycle accident." Luckily this was long after she shot all her Krav Maga moves in THE DEBT.
